The artist said she was in a deep meditative place when she created these
designs and that they can be significantly useful to those who 'recognize'
something more than aesthetic beauty. Ms. Burke felt these works were
'given to her' as tools and keys for connecting with a deeper journey.

It is the hope of the artist that the viewing of her work will offer Peace
and Love as well as remind us of deep Spiritual connections within

Peggy Burke introduced a new series of work from her
private collection of maquettes (a preliminary
3-dimensional model of an intended sculpture) in the
1990's. Peggy has called this particular genre of sculpture
her 'Meditative Series'. These sculptures were signed and
numbered, and fabricated of sturdy and heavy painted
steel and designed to be used in or outdoors.
